During the 1990s, following a vivid dream that profoundly influenced his creative life, Carlos Mundy turned to painting. His work was presented in two successful solo exhibitions at the Nacho James Art Gallery, and today a number of paintings from this formative period are held in important private collections. In the early twenty-first century, his creative interests expanded to photography. Through his images, he seeks to capture atmosphere, beauty and the quiet narratives found within people, places and cultures. A solo exhibition of his photographic work is planned for the near future.
